HOW TO MAKE A HUMMUS?
WITH THE COMPACT COOK ELITE
A very simple hummus recipe for all your aperitifs!
My list of necessary ingredients:
- 400g canned chickpeas, drained and peeled (keep the juice)
- 30g olive oil
- 30g of Tahini (sesame paste, or sesame butter, in the oriental department or organic grocery)
- The juice of a lemon
- 1 clove of peeled garlic
- 1/2 c. 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 c. salt, pepper
- 1 C. ground cumin
Preparation of the recipe:
- Position the blade with 4 knives in the bowl of the Compact Cook.
- Add the peeled garlic, chickpeas, 1 tsp. olive oil, tahini, salt, pepper, lemon juice and a little water of chickpeas.
- Start the CHOP program by increasing the duration to 1 minute. Pause every 20 seconds, open the cover and scrape the edges down.
- Transfer the preparation to a bowl, sprinkle with cumin and paprika and drizzle with olive oil.
